Sunset and the tide is low. Jack has gone for a swim and I capture the various activities along the beach.
Happiness is being content with what you have, living in freedom and liberty, having a good family life and good friends. Divyanka Tripathi

Every time I stand before a beautiful beach, its waves seem to whisper to me: If you choose the simple things and find joy in nature’s simple treasures, life and living need not be so hard.
Love the reflections! Also the happy little dog who looks as though he’s going to get a shock from that ball any second now 😉

The ball just missed him…

Living close to that beach must be brilliant. Just to be able to walk down there at the end of the day, and breathe…
says it all really.

Living near a beach is pleasure and there is such a stretch to choose from, not all of them are crowded

Indeed. I really wish I was within walking distance of the sea. Getting into the car sort of defeats the object. Where to go, where to park…

Parking at our beach is difficult most days but a major problem in school holiday times. We are lucky, we can bike or walk

There are plenty of other beaches almost deserted if you go away from the popular spots

Beautiful reflection of sky in water!
Am always amazed when I see that skyline rising up from a beach.

What a beautiful spot. No wonder my brother lives there. I checked your photos very carefully to see if I could see him, but alas no. 🙂

Where does your brother live on the GC? Have you ever been here?

I haven’t actually visited him. How awful is that. But I’m pretty sure he lives at Burleigh. He is a bit of a surfie. He doesn’t have any hair though, so that might give you a clue if you are see an aging surfer dude. 🙂

Why do so many people live in skyscrapers when there is so much space in Australia?

I can’t understand it either

Well, at least they look like nice skyscrapers, at least for those who do not need garden space.

Not so many people have time or inclination for gardening these days Tony
