I will leave the Broken Hill reminisces for today as I want to show you the magic of the early morning light in the garden.
Overnight this dainty Dancing Lady Orchid had become draped with a gossamer cloak glistening in the early morning sun light to delight me as I wandered around the garden on my early morning check.
Spider webs are so beautiful and marvels of engineering. 🙂 Lovely shot, Pauline.

This photo and the words in this post delighted me.
Spiders keep the winged insects under control,
And the birds keep them from getting out of hand.
Lizards, skinks and snakes all play their part in the balance of your garden.
If everybody had a garden like yours instead of the sterilised maintenance free type.
The world would be in better harmony with mother nature.

Lovely shot. I like the way the orchid’s shadows block some of the web 😀

Lovely orchid and web, hope that is not one of your dangerous spiders though!

Don’t think so. Haven’t seen any red backs or white tails around here for a long time

Gorgeous Pauline, how big is the orchid?

Each individual flower is about the size of a thumb nail and the whole branch covered in blossom is about 2 foot.

I love spider webs after rain when they look like jeweled masterpieces. That spider will be repairing that web for hours methinks.
Thank you for sharing this magical and wonderful scene from the garden.

Spiders are so industrious and their webs are constantly having to be repaired.
