20/20 Photo Challenge : April, lines #4

The final assignment for April is “curved lines”.

This month’s final assignment – Curved lines. Curved lines allow the viewer to explore an entire image, meandering from one part to another. S curves divide an image into equal parts and lead your eye through the image.

I love the flowing effect of curves in photos. Curves are everywhere. Here’s a collection I found as I looked through my archives…Lets follow this road and see where it goes.This is green New Zealand across the road from my son’s farm.Of course it is hard to beat how nature uses curves. The Sydney Opera House is the ultimate use of curves in architecture.This “eye in the sky” is in Brisbane and would give fantastic views over the city. But I have never been brave enough to get on it…This is my local beach. Can you see the dragon, in the clouds, flying away over the horizon? Maybe it is a sign that the virus is going and some restrictions are lifting this weekend. We will be allowed to sit on the beach and have picnics with family. Previously we could only walk and exercise on our local beaches. And we are allowed to drive within 50km of our home for leisure outings. Freedom is on the way….
